VascoMed GmbH was established in 1989 and started business on April 1st, 1989.

The initial product line included permanent pacing leads and accessories..


	While the permanent pacing leads line was terminated in the late 90s, one of the earlier products continues to be a reference product of VascoMed: After 20 years of experience in this field, the “VascoExtor Viper” is the latest development in a series of lead extraction systems.

Over the course of time “VascoStim” temporary pacing leads, “VascoPeel” lead introducers and catheters for electrophysiology have since completed the portfolio of VascoMed products.

VascoMed’s capabilities progressively gained the interest of other medical device manufacturers and start-up’s. Today OEM manufacturing is the main business of VascoMed.

Since the beginning of 2008, VascoMed belongs to the Micro Systems Technologies group of companies. With this strong partner behind it and retaining the culture of a small but growing company, VascoMed offers buyers and users maximum quality, amazing innovations and the best possible service.
